My arms are already sore typing this up ! I took Sean and Thackston (Sean's best friend) on an adventure today. First we met up with MY best friend Jeffrey for lunch and the traditional trip to Cold Stone. Sean loves having lunch with Uncle Jeffrey as it ALWAYS means a trip to Cold Stone for dessert. I sit and watch them eat and they both laugh at me !
Then it was off to Climb at Blue Ridge which is also known as Rocks and Ropes. The boys had a really great time learning to climb. They were able to conquer a 5.8 wall. The 5.9 wall was just a little too much of a challenge for them, but they tried and did not give up. I learn how to belay with the best of them ... thus why my arms are already screaming as I am typing. I did not realize how close to the house the gym is and what fun they would have ... we will do this again !
