They say ... I have always wonder who exactly "they" really are and why everything "they" say is known by everyone and anyone .... but I know that "they" say that it takes a village to raise a child. Around here that is pretty much what we have, our own little village. Here in the valley my in-laws are a 1/4 mile down the road, Bob is across the road, Pete is next door to her, Marty on the other side of her, Evelyn and Jimmy down at the bridge and last but not least there is Bett the resident sheriff. Our own little village .... that has provided Sean a whole slew of "grandparents" that help make him who he is and help keep me in line. :) Not far from the valley not only does Sean have my Mother and Grandmother but he has some more of the Talley Clan and the Crowe Clan.
Today we went to visit Grandma Mae (Jr's Mom) so that Sean could play the banjo for her. She has not heard him play and last time she was in the valley to visit, Sean and I were not home. We picked up Grandmother and took her with us for a visit. Sean provided her a private concert in her own living room. Glad we could do this and make her day a little brighter. Sometimes that is what it is all about, making someones day just a little brighter. We LOVE you Grandma Mae!
